Frame 1
In the winter of 1983, Tom and three buddies visited Jackson Hole on a University of Michigan Ski Club trip. Skiing The Big One bell-to-bell, his favorite memories involve taking sandwiches from the old Crystal Springs Lodge up the Aerial Tram to eat in the sunshine on the Rock Springs Buttress.
This image captures Tom skiing Rendezvous Bowl on his way to his favorite lunch spot. Later that afternoon, they would ski down as the mountain grew quiet, skiing with no one else around.

Tom made his first trip to Jackson Hole in 1979, accompanied by two of his best friends and his sister. This photo was taken outside of The Hostel on their way to ski one of their six back-to-back powder days.
Tom has returned to Jackson almost every season for the last 47 years. For all but three of those trips, he has stayed at The Hostel in search of the authentic Rocky Mountain ski culture and town vibes he loves.
Tom will be joining us again next season for another Jackson Hole trip with his grand prize from @bestdaybrewing , continuing his search for the next Best Day.
