right place, right time. 🏛️ Showing up to the Contemporary Wing every day felt like walking into a room full of mirrors. I saw myself in @asherald portraits—in their depth, in their stillness. In the visitors. In the staff. In people experiencing history in real time. And then one day, I looked up and met one of history’s clearest reflections— THE Angela Davis. another unforgettable moment during my time working the American Sublime exhibition at the BMA (@baltimoremuseumofart ), continuing soon at the High Museum of Art ( @highmuseumofart ) !

moments before takeoff! ✈️ Prior to its landing at Hooper House, my piece “United in Song” was at the Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport (@bwi_airport ) For four months ( Nov. 2025-Mar. 2026 ), this work was in the Gateway Gallery , as part of the group exhibition “What a Wonderful World “ Visiting airports before a trip has always made me say aloud, “My work will be here one day, Why not !” That manifestation finally came true thanks to @annearundelarts 🫂 #airport #bwiairport #baltimoreart

fresh fades💈 a new painting accompanied by a digital portrait lineup. I had the blessing of showing this work for @contemporaryartsnetwork 10 year anniversary group exhibition last December. This took a while to post. I needed some straightening, a lil sharpening , a lil patience. we’re back in that place now. Have You Heard ? ( Cape & Crown ) acrylic latex on canvas 36”x48” 2025

a family affair 🇺🇸 For the past 6 months I’ve had the privilege of working the @asherald American Sublime show at the @baltimoremuseumofart . After Sherald pulled work from the @smithsoniannpg , I found myself stepping into a very special moment — one that will go down in museum history and be deeply felt across the city of Baltimore for many years to come! Being in this space, during this time, has truly been a dream come true. I don’t take lightly the opportunity to work inside a museum during such a historic and meaningful exhibition. I’m incredibly grateful to have witnessed it up close, learned from it, and played even a small part in the experience. I have so many stories and days I could share, but I’ll start with this one — a beautiful opportunity to model and create content with the family during such a special time. More moments to come.

From This Point Forward🧗🏾 A mural I completed for NOMA IN COLOR 2024, just around the corner from my alma mater McKinley Tech. The figures inspired by our STEM paths are reminders of our responsibility to innovate, build and problem solve within & outside of our communities. A little graffiti tried to hold me back—nothing some Northeast giants couldn’t handle! Shoutout to @amanda_public_art_ & crew for getting me back together 🙌🏾 This nearly 36ft x 11ft piece stands as a reflection of growth, resilience, and home. From This Point Forwards, a monument for accountability to remind us of the creed under which we were raised-“no excuses, just solutions.” Big thanks to @noma.bid for the opportunity to create my first hometown mural. Excited to see the new murals come alive next week as the festival celebrates its 10th year! 🎉 📍336 Randolph Pl NE / @stablearts @metroforward Metropolitan Branch Trail

Artwork Spotlight by artist Brandon Slewion @iamslew 💫All Artwork available through the ArtClvb Web App or Mobile App. Link in bio 💫 “Part of a series of four drawings inspired by the mural If I Move, You Move, located at WAKT Radio Station in Toledo, Ohio. This piece is an active continuation of the Rest Stop Figures style, exploring themes of movement, community, and connection. “ @iamslew About the Artist: Brandon Slewion (b. 1997) is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and entrepreneur working between Toledo, Ohio, and Washington, D.C. Raised in the nation’s capital, his upbringing amidst politics, business, tourism, and inner-city sports deeply influenced his views on identity, competitive culture, and personal branding. His work explores the movement of people and the fluidity of cultural and personal identities in urban environments. Brandon’s curatorial practice expands the idea of public works and alternative education, seeking to redesign the artist’s role as a community leader and role model. Through his projects, he examines the intersections of migration, community building, and the transformative power of art in fostering dialogue and understanding.
