My first ariya mural and it was documented in a MAJOR way.. I’m not even sure how to express my gratitude to the people who made this happen. Thank you most importantly @chbcartgallery for allowing the space for artists like myself, and @washingtonpost especially @joysung_ and @theartist_mbs for the feature. I’m excited for the world to see this young lady through my eyes and hear her story of resilience and beauty. Michaela lived a short but her impact was felt in many people. Her message I received through dance is that we are all different and that it’s okay. Show grace and give space. Please read more on Michaela DePrince.
