We’ve seen some wicked weather this summer, but our teams are always keeping customer safety in mind. During a flash flood last month, a station manager at Silver Spring sprang into action to help customers navigate wet floors from the sudden influx of rain. Our facilities team was also on the job, getting the water cleaned up a short time later. We’re here for you – rain, sleet, or snow 🫶
Make way for goslings! For nearly 45 minutes, Metro Transit Police Officer Yeo escorted a family of geese traveling westbound on I-66 yesterday afternoon. 🐥🚔 He and his K-9 were first to respond and played an active role in escorting the family to safety. A huge thank you to our partners @virginia_state_police , @virginiadot , and @arlingtonvapd who also assisted in this effort. While the parents were briefly separated from the goslings, they were safely reunited nearby. 🥹
