I am lost for words. Having such a prominent British Jewish voice write this Op-Ed means so much.
Thank you Daniel Levy.
Thank you @zeteo for publishing this without a paywall.

This was my favourite project from last year! Please never stop speaking and advocating for the children of Gaza.
They deserve a future as much as our own children.

The world tells us girls are born equal. Then it quietly hands them a contract they never asked for 📝
A list of Terms and Conditions that limit girls’ rights, safety and opportunities.
At the current pace, women and girls will not see gender equality achieved in their lifetime. But this isn’t inevitable.
Thank you @iamlenaheadey for standing with us to challenge the unfair terms that girls never agreed to.
Together we can reject these contracts and change the conditions girls are born into. Because the plan is still on. Until we are all equal 🤝💙
I have taken hundreds of images over the years of a wide spectrum of Jewish protestors who always come to the Palestine marches. I have literally begged our media to spotlight them and listen to their stories, and there has been zero interest.
Coordinated bot campaigns have repeatedly labelled these images as Fake/AI, claiming that the people in them do not exist.
They are very real and a growing group within the global Palestine solidarity community. They have been at every protest I have attended.
Imagine a world where we are expected to ignore this. Or at best whisper about it! Sigh….
Anyone who has enabled this has lost their souls.
This is occupation, this is apartheid.
This is not a debate.

“Open the road, open the road, open the road!”
The children of Umm Al-Kheir singing, chanting, and holding a field class beside barbed wire settlers erected to block their access to school. For the past week, these 55 children have been denied their most basic right to education. Last week as they attempted to pass the barrier the occupation forces fired tear gas at them.
We call upon everyone, journalists, activists, anyone who can help us spread the word. We are the community of Um al-Kheir and our children, our students are facing a blockade by the settlers. It’s important to stand with us to reclaim our right of walking safely to the school from the hysterical walking path that the settlers have blocked. We believe in our right to this path, we believe in our children’s right to education, and we will not stop until we reopen this road.
As an English teacher,I believe that we should fight until the end to reopen this walking path. Not only to reopen this path that the settlers blocked with razor wire, but to stand up for one of the main basic rights for humans: the right to education for every child in this world. We need people to stand with us, to make media attention, and bring more outside pressure on the Israeli occupation to reopen this road that the settlers have blocked without any justification nor reason. Legally, settlers are not allowed to block this walking path. We need your help to stand with us here to show everyone that the official authorities are complicit with the settlers’ actions on the ground.” Tareq Hathaleen, Umm al-Kheir Resident
