As the director, adapter, and writer of this project, this journey stretched me in every way possible. What started as an idea became a process — writing, rewriting, breaking things down, and rebuilding them into something that could live and breathe on stage. Adapting this story wasn’t easy. It meant respecting the source while still finding our own voice. It meant making bold choices. It meant trusting instinct even when doubt was loud. Then came the stage… where everything we created was tested in real time. There were tough days. There were moments we almost lost it. But we stayed. We pushed. We delivered. And now, standing at the end of the month, I can say this was more than just a production — it was growth, discipline, and proof that we can create something powerful when we commit fully. Somewhere along the way, it stopped being just my vision — it became ours. To everyone who was part of this journey… thank you for showing up and giving this everything. The highlight of March has to be me, wearing my actor's hat. I had the opportunity to play the role of Lettie in The Greatest Showman, staged by Herit Art Productions and directed by Oluwadamilare Ojo. It was demanding; rehearsals upon rehearsals and then, I danced.😂😂🤲🏽 I didn't think I could pull off dancing and singing together but somehow, I did it. God truly helped me.🥹🤍 I spent a lot of time feeling like a potato because I felt it wasn't worth celebrating; hence, my posting it now.🫠 But ‘celebrate your small wins’, they say. So here I am. 🥹 This is not even the beginning. I'll come back here to see how far I've come. Also, this is the time when I get to explore! I'm a singer, actor, songwriter, content creator and maybe I'll add spoken word poetry or trapeze.😂 By my God!💪🏽💯 Thank you, Mr Ojo @iam_deeray for having me on the team. To my cast, my dancers, my crew—you gave more than your talent… you gave yourselves. You carried a dream that wasn’t originally yours and made it breathe like it was.
