También se dará lectura a un pronuncamiento de organizaciones colectivas de la región en territorio kumiai.
-------
Amidst the ongoing violent occupation of Palestinian territories, the Israeli Zionist state has employed strategies of salted earth to ensure the permanent exclusion of Palestinians from their territory. These have included attacks against agricultural fields, water infrastructure and waste management infrastructure. As a community composting collective we understand the pivotal role this infrastructure plays in the habitability and resilience of the territories in which we operate. We posit that the ongoing occupation is a proving grounds for developing techniques of dispossession and exploitation that are being employed by extractivist projects around the globe, including our communities. We are facilitating this trans-border political education workshop to discuss ways in which community composting collectives can become integrated within larger struggles to protect and regenerate land, in the face of encroaching threats to our communities.
