We are excited to kick off this show at @zer0wave on the 24th, a bill that also features old friends @the_haggard_pdx and the delightful #DebtRag. 7-9pm sharp, don’t straggle.All proceeds to @jsir_oregon ~JSIR — meaning bridge in Arabic — is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Palestinian families who have fled genocide and unimaginable hardship, and are now rebuilding their lives in Oregon. Many of these families are survivors of violence, displacement, and loss, arriving with little more than hope for safety, stability, and a chance to heal.@zerowaveshows@postpresentmedium

We had a memorable time on our mini-tour last month. Thanks again to @blackeyesdischord for inviting us to open both their Bay Area shows, including a return to @924gilmanstreet. Two shows close to home before we head out on a mini-tour in a few weeks… inter-band rumors suggest that we may perform a new song (or two) Next Thursday 1/8 at at @motherfoucaultsbooks here in Portland w/ #PiggyBank and @horsebag_pdx (flyer by @rowcherumble)And on Friday 1/9 we’ll travel to our birthplace and spiritual home Olympia to play at @le.voyeur.olympia w/ #DebtRag and @triviot_band (flyer by @mnordile) ️ ️ ️

Night one in San Francisco is over halfway sold out and night two at the legendary @924gilmanstreet is rapidly selling as we approach showtime. Next Wednesday we’ll be opening for none other than Mark Robinson (@teenbeat) of Unrest, Air Miami, Flin Flon, etc, at @turnturnturnpdx. Having grown up in DC’s original 9:30 Club, Alex and I had the privilege of seeing Unrest many times, along with all the Teen Beat groups, and Erika set up a show for him in TX many years ago. Don’t sleep. The only question now is whether or not we yell “blast off country style!” before every Intima song. #IYKYKFlyer by @rowcherumble@beacon_sound@shmumuklapur@jamboreemgmt

We’re very happy to have contributed a song to Poppy Seeds: An International Benefit for Mutual Aid in Gaza, the third in a series of compilations organized by Rachel of @thedissidentsphilly, along with @theexband, @mekons_official, @poisonruin, #NapeNeck, and many others. Link in bio to listen and support.We first recorded this version of “Public Secret” during the Peril and Panic sessions in 2002. Last year, when we were re-mixing the album with @the_masses, we re-recorded Andrew’s vocals and invited @juliasabra of @postcardsmusic and @snakeskinmusic to contribute new vocals for the final verse (recorded in Beirut by @fadi_tabbal):such beautiful people in the aislespushing carts, looking at themselveschildren reading college brochuresdescendants of columbus driving explorers@rowcherumble @shmumuklapur @blackriverflow @postpresentmedium @zumaudio @rupturedthelabel
