MORNING MOVES! After closing its Lincoln Heights cafe in late 2025,
@arrozandfun_la is back in action — because it’s now rolled into sibling restaurant
@chifa_la in Eagle Rock. Arroz & Fun is heading up Chifa’s new daytime service, which starts at 7am and offers a mix of items new and old, plus WiFi if you feel like working from one of the city’s most stylish dining rooms. The family cafe blends its founders’ Taiwanese, Peruvian, Chinese and Salvadoran heritages for items like the signature bolo bao breakfast sandwich, which piles egg, cheese, hash brown and Salvadoran chorizo onto a pineapple bun. But new items involve vanilla-and-Thai basil lattes, curry noodles, pepper shrimp bowls, a house-made chicha morada syrup that’s paired with espresso and soda, and more. Glad to see it back!
