Each month, a different chef takes over the morning and first up we have @diepette of Good Girl Dinette and the founder of @thebanhchungcollective .

Tickets are $30 which include ONE of the following and a specialty drink by Cipota Coffee:
🍤-One Trieu Chau-style Shrimp Bowl (tots not included)
🐔🥒-One Breakfast Rice Bowl (Chicken Patty or Spring Vegetables with greens) and GGD Tots
🥚🥓🌱-One Croque Madame with Red Boat bacon or mushrooms and Arugula Salad

I got to drop in on some new friends at @chifa_la and talk @burlapandbarrel spices this week. Thanks to the staff for being so welcoming. Also… WOW! The bolo breakfast sandwich and the panca poke bowl were both intoxicatingly unique and refreshingly simple. Edison and Humberto’s relationship was deeply shaped through Opening Ceremony’s annual cookouts in Los Angeles, where Edison first met Popo Wendy and John Liu (of @chifa_la ). Those early cookouts that brought people together around family and culture, along with Popo Wendy’s lifelong experience with Chinese food that started in Peru, created the foundation for which Chifa sits upon today.
P.S. Out of 60+ regional Chinese cuisines, we still haven’t come across satay with cheese.
