As part of the London Festival of Architecture
@londonfestivalofarchitecture in partnership with Hadley Road Community Allotment, Studio DERA presents two research and development days on BUILDING WITH COB. The days will consist of a hands-on workshop in which you can contribute directly to building CobBauge walls
@cobbauge (insulated rammed earth) for the Hadley Road Community Allotment Hub in South London on one of Studio DERA’s live projects.
This workshop is a unique chance to gain practical experience in earth construction, offering in-depth insight and practical experience in a traditional yet innovative building technique, under a guidance of a master Cob builder Paul Barclay. There will be a lunchtime talks from Architects Climate Action Network
@architectscan and the others on the use of natural materials and the innovation properties of the use of CobBauge.
