If you live in London and pay a service charge, you may have recently received a Section 20 letter from us. This was to let you know that we’re currently looking for a new grounds maintenance contractor. We’re now carefully reviewing all the bids from potential partners, and we’ll be able to share more details soon. The new service is expected to start in August 2026. In the meantime, we’re continuing to work with idverde to make sure your outdoor spaces are well looked after and kept clean. If you’re a Moat customer that lives in Gravesend, you’re invited to join us this Wednesday, at our Gravesend Community Hub for our ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’. Hosted by Moat Foundation, you’ll be able to hear about the wellbeing services we offer and meet mental health professionals we partner with. Free refreshments and light lunch will be provided. No need to book. Location: Gravesend Community Hub, 7 Warrior Avenue, DA12 5NA When: Wednesday 13 May, 12pm – 2pm. On Tuesday, Moat Foundation held their first ‘Love Where You Live’ event of the year at Paffard Court near Canterbury - and what a lovely way to celebrate our 60th anniversary! We spent the morning with customers from our Supported and Independent Living schemes, joined by some of our supply partners. There was plenty of coffee, bacon sandwiches, and luckily some beautiful spring sunshine to enjoy together. We also shared a few of our 60th anniversary touches - including decorations and cupcakes - while hearing from customers about their experiences living in a Moat home.
