Çhâñt Élečtrónïqùe kroz spoj tradicijske glazbe, elektronike i suvremenih zvukova pokazuje da je tradicija živa, promjenjiva i otvorena novim interpretacijama. Njihov pristup udaljen je od folklornog klišeja i turističke egzotike, a temelji se na zajedničkom istraživanju glasa, ritma i nasljeđa.
Bend čine glazbenici iz Francuske, Portugala, Irske, Hrvatske te Bosne i Hercegovine: Dunja Bahtijarević, Nenad Kovačić, Teresa Campos, Louise Calzada, Nils Peschanski, Raphael Hardy i Darragh Quinn.

The evening will start with a performance by the women’s collective Vakat.

At a time when traditional music is often exploited for superficial tourist purposes, and when many argue that tradition should neither be altered nor modernised, Çhâñt Élečtrónïqùe’s approach restores the discussion to its essential foundations. Tradition is a living entity; it has always been subject to change. In the context of the present moment, the music created by Çhâñt Élečtrónïqùe strikes a compelling balance between tradition and contemporaneity.
The members of Çhâñt Élečtrónïqùe met at various traditional music workshops and come from France, Portugal, Ireland, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The group includes the well-known Dunja Bahtijarević and Nenad Kovačić, alongside Teresa Campos (Portugal), Louise Calzada, Nils Peschanski and Raphael Hardy (France), and Darragh Quinn (Ireland).
