🇵🇹 Početkom svibnja u Bragi, Portugal, u organizaciji gnration-a održana je EMAP networking konferencija koja je okupila predstavnike svih organizacija mreže, kao i umjetnike odabrane za ovogodišnje rezidencijalne programe. Tijekom tri dana sudionici su imali priliku predstaviti projekte koje će razvijati kroz nadolazeće rezidencije, razmijeniti ideje i povezati se s partnerima iz cijele Europe. Ispred KONTEJNER-a, na konferenciji su sudjelovale kustosice Olga Majcen Linn i Tereza Teklić. Umjetnički kolektiv Where Dogs Run, koji će ove godine boraviti kod nas na rezidenciji, nažalost nije mogao sudjelovati uživo, no svoj su projekt predstavili online. 🇵🇹 At the beginning of May, the EMAP networking conference took place in Braga, Portugal, organised by gnration. The conference brought together representatives of all network organisations, as well as artists selected for this year’s residency programmes. Over the course of three days, participants had the opportunity to present the projects they will be developing during the upcoming residencies, exchange ideas, and connect with partners from across Europe. Representing KONTEJNER at the conference were curators Olga Majcen Linn and Tereza Teklić. The artistic collective Where Dogs Run, who will be in residence at KONTEJNER later this year, unfortunately could not attend in person, but presented their project online. Phonos exposes sound as a physical and spatial phenomenon, displacing it from the realm of the audible into that of the tangible, while bringing to light the otherwise elusive dynamics of sound waves. "Phonos" je skulpturalna instalacija sastavljena od 208 recikliranih zvučnika, pri čemu je svaki element rekonfiguriran: uklonjena mu je membrana i reprogramiran je za prijem jedinstvenog infrazvučnog signala. "Phonos" razotkriva zvuk kao fizički i prostorni fenomen, premještajući ga iz područja čujnog u područje opipljivog, pri tome otkrivajući inače neuhvatljive dinamike zvučnih valova. Senzori bilježe električnu aktivnost biljaka i pretvaraju je u podatke koje roboti, uz strojno učenje, interpretiraju te reagiraju svjetlom, zvukom ili dodirom. Ti podražaji mijenjaju fiziološko stanje biljaka, stvarajući uzajamni odnos. Sustav se razvija u hibridnu mrežu učenja biljaka, strojeva, ali i posjetitelja. Ulaz na izložbu je besplatan!
