Rad polazi od obilaska tzv. Mora plastike u Španjolskoj 2025. godine te zamišlja narativ u kojem halucinogeni toksini biljaka pomoćnica truju kolektivnu podsvijest konzumenata rajčica. Kroz terenske snimke, fabulacije, zvuk, govor i video pratimo niti koje povezuju polikromnu skulpturu 16. stoljeća, špageti vestern, berače voća i industrijsku poljoprivredu, sve kako bismo razmišljali o energiji, višku, potrošnji, svetom i užasu.
Zvukospjevi su multimedijalni projekt filmašice i tekstopisateljice Nicole Hewitt, medijskog i zvučnog umjetnika Ivana Slipčevića te vizualne umjetnice Vide Guzmić.
📯🔊📯 The work begins with a visit to the so-called Sea of Plastic in Spain in 2025 and imagines a narrative in which hallucinogenic toxins from companion plants poison the collective subconscious of tomato consumers. Through field recordings, fabulations, sound, speech and video, we follow the threads that connect 16th century polychrome sculpture, spaghetti westerns, fruit pickers and industrial agriculture in order to reflect on energy, surplus, consumption, the sacred and horror.
Soundspiels is a mixed media project by filmmaker and writer Nicole Hewitt, media and sound artist Ivan Slipčević and visual artist Vida Guzmić.

Novi film Nicole Hewitt "Vremeplovke" imat će svoju svjetsku premijeru sutra na Međunarodnom festivalu eksperimentalnog filma u Istanbulu.
May 16th 18:00 📍Salt Galata Auditorium, Istanbul
New film by Nicole Hewitt, "She Who Passes Through Time" will have its world premiere tomorrow at the Istanbul International Experimental Film Festival.
"She Who Passes Through Time" meanders and wanders through spaces, motions, characters, objects, voices and times drifting in and out of form. The film takes as its starting point the Strugatsky brothers’ novel Roadside Picnic on which Tarkovsky's Stalker is based, and loosely follows the shooting locations of Stalker. The film is organised around the minor character of Monkey - a hairy and mutated little girl, the beloved daughter of the Stalker, working through notions of haunting and the politics of the minor, gender-inflected subject — the one who is absent, the one who mutates, transmigrates.

A new film in Pangolin Production, "The Same Sweat is Still Flowing Through the Same Pores" by Neža Knez, is premiering at the 7th edition of the Istanbul International Experimental Film Festival as part of the official selection in the program The Matters of Memory.
📍 May 14 at 16:00 at Salt Galata Auditorium, Istanbul
“The Same Sweat is Still Flowing Through the Same Pores” is based on long-term research of a specific site to which the author is connected through family history. The film reflects on subjectivities, the past, and the relationships that are formed on the land. Through continuous documentation and interventions in the landscape, film takes the form of a journey through time and an ongoing attempt to understand the space, its inhabitants, objects, and transformations. Rhythm and narrative are constructed through the interplay of different filming techniques and montage, the use of multiple cameras, and several voices in different registers.

Studio Pangolin will be at border_less ARTBOOK DAYS 2026 (15-17 May) ☄️
Studio Pangolin is a Zagreb-based feminist artist-run initiative producing experimental films, installations, workshops, and artist books, with a focus on hybrid formats that merge poetic and discursive practices. Rooted in a feminist understanding of art as inseparable from life, it supports collaborative processes and emphasizes minor, fragile, and often invisible forms of production.
Closely involved in every stage of bookmaking—from research and material exploration to printing and binding—the collective develops small-scale, experimental publications in dialogue with artists and designers, while fostering a supportive and emancipatory platform for women artists.
The selection of publications will include 📚
Workbook: Pustijerna (2024): A workbook-format publication exploring Dubrovnik through fragmented narratives and visual materials that destabilize dominant representations.
Women Minor Speculations (2023): A speculative compilation by Nicole Hewitt tracing Neolithic figurines across regions, blending research, fiction, and travel.
This Woman is called Jasna (2022): A multi-voiced narrative weaving personal and collective histories around women’s experiences during the Yugoslav wars.
In Time (2013): A theoretical and artistic work engaging choreography, language, and political rhetoric.
Additional publications and zines extend these explorations through themes of memory, space, landscape, and collective perception, often developed alongside exhibitions and long-term artistic research.

🎬 Détours [ Obilaznice ] - CORTO THEMA
de Vida Guzmić
Documentaire | Croatie | 2024 | 23’

〰️ detours was awarded best experimental short at the 10th FESCISA San Antonio Independent Film Festival in Ecuador, held from 19–22 March 2026 〰️
Filmed between 2019 and 2021, detours documents a moment in Lebanon’s turbulent history and immerses us in a state of continuous disorientation. Bearing witness to a collective encounter - a revolution led by youth and solidarity - the gaze drifts through an urban landscape, caught between the concrete experience and shifting memory.
