Launching @the_christopher_the ’s @hearthe_aus this year was pretty bloody *sweet* (boom boom tish). This creative genius started Black Star, made the most Instagrammed cake in the world, and then decided to go back to his roots and open a small stellar bakery in Stanmore. He sells out of cakes most days. Now he’s championing indigenous ingredients for flavour and to unlock preservation techniques. Thank you @jessieclear of @clr.agency for bringing this Hillbilly on board for the project 🙏🏻
Photographer @mmmkigonya channelled some Twin Peaks vibes when he photographed a life drawing class we held as part of @107projectsinc ’s Made in Redfern Festival. Hillbilly was brought on to the project by @positive.projects 🙏🏻 It was a month-long festival that championed the people, places and organisations of Redfern - arguably the most important suburb of Sydney ☕️🍒🍰
