This time last year in April 2025
@expo2025japan had been open for just one week! Looking back on one of our larger projects of last year...
High Res delivered the projection, lighting, and audio systems for
@irelandatexpo , in collaboration with
@jrdisplays.ie ,
@irishforeignministry ,
@opwireland ,
@nationalmuseumireland , and
@nationalconcerthall .
Across the Pavilion’s three exhibition spaces, we provided creative and exhibition lighting for displays and curated objects, as well as coordinated projection, lighting design, and 5.1 surround sound for An Talamh / The Plain, a specially commissioned film and soundscape by artist
@marianne_keating with an original score by Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh.
The audio system was designed by John Vickers of sound_design_ire and delivered by
@jasonfallon_ols of One Louder Sound.
We also integrated flexible content playback options to support the DFA’s wide range of events throughout their Expo programme. High Res’
@markgalione designed lighting looks, programmed by Josefine Danielsson, for live performances by the Expo Players and other daily events within the Pavilion.
Epson projectors provided by
@prgjapan and
@disguise_one servers provided by
@bylexconceptdesigncontrol , allowed various video set ups to be programmed by
@kjellrijntjes and
@ama.on.set for ‘Ellipse 3’; the multimedia space.
Chip Devitt was chief QLab network programmer, and all round solutions magician, integrating QLab, Brightsign players and even carpentry.
Edu Prado was onsite sound engineer setting everything audio up, and keeping musical performances, presentations and events sounding perfect for the opening few weeks of Expo.
High Res’ 3D modelling preparation, design, and CAD was executed by Reinaldo Lelis.
We can’t fit everything we want to say about this here! So more info, and most importantly - thank yous! - in comment below.
