Honoured to have been part of the Ireland Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. I was involved in the projector setup for Ellipse 3—a dynamic, multi-purpose space powered by disguise media servers, hosting everything from music and dance to film and panel talks. Highlights include a powerful film by @marianne_keating with music by Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, and daily performances from the National Concert Hall musicians. An edit I made back in September 2023 that never saw the light of day. There are lots of differences between these two ads, from fonts to actors, but the key one is that I made one of these. Can you guess which one?
It’s a recreation of a Dyson ad I saw at the time. I just had the urge to see if I could make it – no real reason, just curiosity. It took about 8 hours in total from idea to finish, and I only actually wrapped it today (adding the “Visit Dyson.ie” text).
Made in Premiere Pro, though halfway through I realised how much easier it would’ve been in After Effects 😅 I used stock footage from Pexels for the actors.
Needless to say, creating the original from concept to final product would have taken a lot more time and preparation. I tried to find the agency that made it but couldn’t. Would love to credit them if anyone knows.
I’m setting myself a small quest to make something creative once a month, just for myself, in my own time. Using some lesser-used skills so I don’t lose them. No pressure, no outcome , just experimentation and playful chaos.
Since you read this far, it’s only fair to tell you which was mine… I made the bottom one!

Bluewater High but they're skateboarders 🛹
Came across a bunch of content shot by @koolshooters on @pexels and decided to rework one of my favourite childhood shows. Altogether, I pulled from 16 different clips to make this. Much fun was had trying to capture the feel of the original and the chaotic nature of skatelife 🔥

3) I was watching a K-Drama/ film called The 8th Sense, which made me think of Bluewater High. I liked the way the film/drama did their credits and wanted to bring it into the skateboarders version, but I wasn't a fan of the end result. What I liked about the film's credits was the slow paced or lingering feel of the text. This edit was far too fast for it but I liked this particular slide.
4) I didn't spend much time on it but I wanted to pull inspiration for the title from Zeke & Luther, but it ended up something else entirely.

PUNCH LINE a short film I produced for the @virginmediaireland Discoves Programme will be showing tonight at 11pm on Virgin Media One after the movie Black 47.
We got a great reception at its World Premiere in the @dublinfilmfestival and are very glad it'll be on TV so many more people can see it.
