What does HIGH COFFEE BAR mean to us?
Coffee is an important part of our lives. The main advantage is that coffee brings people together. A cup of coffee has become an integral part of communication. For us, it is important that both the cup and the conversation are filled with quality.
As refugees in France, we visited specialty coffee shops not only for a cup of filter coffee but for the atmosphere where we were just people, without status and labels.
After moving to England, we received the right to work and develop, for which we are very grateful to this country. To quickly shed the “refugee” status, at least in our own perception, we started working hard, studying, and planning to open a coffee shop. All of this became possible thanks to Jackie, who shared not only her home but also her love with us. We are immensely grateful to Jackie for her kind heart and support.
We create an atmosphere of freedom in our coffee shop—a place where you can be yourself, without judgment and clichés.
Freedom, simplicity, and quality are the foundation of our philosophy.

In this tasting event we are going to taste the whole range of products from one of my favourites roasters; Mission Coffee Works
I have communicated with my friend Marcello Geraci to supply us with some samples and I own him a big thank you for that.

A fun tasting in Chester! Sorry if my energy was a little low, but I'm coming off the back of a massive three weeks in coffee.
We cupped @seriescoffeeroasters from Bali. @kenhendarto is a friend from Melbourne and he opened his own roastery. We also had coffees on the table from @colonnacoffee , @caffepiccoloco , @skylark.coffee , @kapowcoffee , @roastersaurus , and @formativecoffee .
It was a smaller group. However, it gives us a chance to encourage people to feel more confident around coffees. I want people to really own the coffees at the moment. They need to use the grinder, pour the kettles, break bowls, and clean regularly. Cupping is one side, preparing the session is another.
Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come out tonight. It is unfortunate we had to change the date, but it is what it is. Keep yoir eye out for future sessions.
