PICCOLOCO AT KEELE IN TOWN OFFICIAL LAUNCH - SATURDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER 🥳
We are so excited to finally announce that we have opened our second location, in Newcastle-under-Lyme! Situated on the ground floor of the Keele in Town building, located at 53 Ironmarket.
Please join us this Saturday 27th for our official launch day where we will be serving coffee and cake from 10am - 4pm. Over the coming weeks we will start to introduce more food offerings.
☕️ We are also really excited to have Ben from Harmony Coffee Roasters join us for a bar takeover in the morning, followed by a cupping in the afternoon.
You will have seen Ben’s coffee in our shop many times but now we are delighted to have him join us for our official launch day!
So, please come by, have a look around our new space, grab a coffee and if you wish, join in with the coffee cupping!

Introducing Banko Gotiti 🇪🇹
A grade 1 washed heirloom from the Kochere district in the Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia - a region known for producing exceptional coffee.
Around 650 smallholder farmers deliver coffee cherries to the Banko Gotiti wet mill where this lot goes through a traditional washed process.
The result is a light, floral cup with citrus acidity. We’re tasting apricots, lemon and jasmine florals. Best brewed black, either as an espresso or pourover.
Now available to try in both Hassell Street and Keele in Town, or grab a bag to take home.
Roasted in-house.

We have had a lot of events recently. They have been building for 12 months in the North.
Ben, John, and the family, have been building for 5 years. They have a fantastic community in Staffordshire and everyone should be really proud of themselves. Not just the hosts, but also the attendees. What an amazing atmosphere.
I'll make another reel, but I just wanted to use this event to show you that you can do it if you believe in it. Nothing is ever perfect, it never is, but @caffepiccoloco is making the most of every opportunity that comes their way.
People want to come out, they want to do stuff, and they want people to make sure they have a good time. Hospitality is about hosting and being hospitable, some people come out to meet people, some come to escape home, some are curious about coffee, etc.
All that matters is providing a level playing field for people to do that, somewhere they feel comfortable, and @caffepiccoloco has certainly done that. Newcastle-Under-Lyme is a small town with low population density, so it is even more impressive!

Another fun cuppong at @caffepiccoloco in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. We had to combine coffees from two sessions to make up for lost time. Liberica, Pacamara, Tabi, Catimor, and a watermelon caturra were just a few of the coffees that were on today. Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come out in the terrible weather.

6 years ago, our Piaggio Apé made its first appearance at the Newcastle-under-Lyme farmers market, with a convoy of cars and family support to set up.
Who would have thought that the Piaggio was to be superseded by a Horse Trailer and now two venues within the town centre, both serving Specialty Coffee and Brunch as well as the odd evening event inbetween!
We have had a lot of support from many loyal customers, friends and family, for which we are so grateful. Thank you for joining us in this journey and we look forward to welcoming you for many years to come.

After months of planning and testing, I’m really excited to share our latest project - CURATED
This menu brings together eight exceptional coffees, each frozen at their peak to preserve flavour and allow us to revisit some of our favourites, as well as showcase rare and exclusive lots that we wouldn’t normally be able to offer.
Over the last couple of years, we’ve explored specialty coffee through an ever-changing lineup of guest roasters from across the UK.
CURATED is the next step in our journey. A way to dive even deeper into what makes coffee so fascinating and to share that exploration with you.
Being able to offer a menu like this in a small town such as Newcastle-under-Lyme is something I don’t take for granted. It’s only possible because of the community that has grown around Piccoloco; so to those of you who’ve joined us for guest coffees, tasting nights, or simply followed along with curiosity, thank you! 🙏
This menu will run for a limited time, with only small amounts of certain coffees available, so if you’re keen to experience some truly special coffees, pop in soon! ☕️
