Ryugiも10周年ということで、 2026年は周年イベントを4回やるという無茶な決断から走り出しました。正直、今振り返ると「なかなかすごいことしてるな」と思うけど、それでも、一回一回しっかりと歴史に爪痕を残せるように、がむしゃらに走り続けています😆 イベントをやるたびに、本当に1人では何もできないということを痛感するし、たくさんの人に支えられているからこそ実現できていることに気づかされます。 毎回少しずつ成長しているのも感じるし、同時に、みんなへの感謝の気持ちでいっぱいになります。 今回ゲストで来てくれたカクちゃん、 いつもブラック企業並みのリクエストに応えてくれる頼れるライゴ、 日本からキッズを連れてきてくれたShade、そして来てくれたキッズBboy達。そしてもちろん、Ryugiのスタッフのみんな、 OZ Bboys & Bgirls、シドニーのストリートダンスコミュニティー、Break塾のみんなと保護者の方々、 今回コラボしてくれたRed Bull Dance Your StyleのHuw、Kyokaちゃん、MT Pop。 本当に数えきれない人たちの支えがあって、今回のRyugiを無事終えることができました。 しんどいことは山ほどあるけど、やり遂げた時の達成感は言葉にできないくらい最高なのでこのまま走り続けます。 今年あと2回、次は8月に日本、10月にラストシドニーでRyugi開催しますのでもう少し僕の無茶振りにお付き合いください。 あ、5月は名古屋でもイベントしますのでお近くの方は連絡ください😆🙌 ----------------------- With Ryugi celebrating its 10th anniversary, I made the crazy decision to run four anniversary events in 2026. Looking back now, I honestly think, “That’s actually kind of wild.” But I’m pushing forward, doing everything I can to make sure each event leaves its mark in history 😆 Every time we run an event, I’m reminded that I can’t do anything on my own. It’s only possible because of the support from so many people. I can feel us growing little by little each time, and at the same time, I’m filled with gratitude for everyone involved. To the Ryugi staff, the OZ Bboys & Bgirls, the Sydney street dance community, everyone from Break Juku and the parents, As well as our collaborators this time—Huw, Kyoka, and MT Pop from Red Bull Dance Your Style— We’ve got two more Ryugi this year— next in Japan this August, and then the final one in Sydney this October. So please stick with me just a little longer through my crazy ideas.
