Doing more synth stuff lately, I will force myself to like it as much as playing instruments 😤

Yesterday I finally got an A/V set working up to my standards at the @dadageek Winter 2026 Student Exhibition! Thank you @devrasplexi @kyleellisevans @brandon_stargrave for teaching and helping me achieve this over the past year and a half. Live A/V became my monomania after going to a previous student exhibition in July 2024 🥹🎵✨🎶🥳

Saturday night I played a magical forest show hosted by @ritualonion where @littlemazarn performed the most touching song about trusting your body to heal, something I’ve needed to do these past four months! Still thinking about that whole evening and cherishing it, I want to play at more gatherings like this one because they are so healing 💐🎵✨

Playing a house show with @littlemazarn tonight—honestly another Austin music dream about to come true! Right hand/wrist still isn’t quite there yet (so my set will be synth/vox) but when it is, I’m going to bring back my folk sets 🤩🎵✨🎶

Last night was the first time I’ve ever played my music with another musician and it completely changed the way I perform, largely because Damon is such an incredible and innovative drummer! I’m so grateful that I get to work with him. It was also my first time playing at @elysiumaustintx , a dream that finally came true! Couldn’t imagine a better show for both of these things, where we got to support @bunycalx ’s album release, finally play a show with @marybluuuu , and have our hearts warmed and charmed by @munster.mash7743 while surrounded by old and new friends! This is what I moved to Austin for 🖤🥹🎵✨🎶 Thank you @opalitekitty @justinian.thegr8 @kal3_000 @marybluuuu for the vids 🥳🙏

Quad Quad, a collection of four original ten-minute quadraphonic pieces for electronics and pedal steel organized by @grahamreynoldsmusic for @fuseboxlive Festival, was one of the coolest shows I’ve ever been a part of! I had never worked with a pedal steel player before so it was really eye-opening to work with the legendary Ricky Davis, who seamlessly adapted his style of playing to my odd Clams Casino/Bonobo-inspired accompaniment. Really happy with how my visuals turned out; every time I work on visuals for a show I discover new ways to have them respond to my music in real time! 1.
