2024 taught me a lot. it taught me how to care for myself, more specifically my mind and my body. it taught me that anger and frustration won’t change anything and will only do personal harm. it taught me how to be patient with myself and with others and to let things unfold as the universe intended it to. it taught me control, as i am only in control of myself and the way i let things affect me. it taught me that health really is so so important. that includes all parts mental and physical, & if we neglect one part of ourselves then our entire systems can shut down. it taught me that loving myself is not just saying it but actually showing it, and believing it. it taught me not to feed into the ill wills of other people who pray on my downfall because we all have our own personal battles we fight constantly underneath the surface. we are all unique and different and beautiful in our own ways. it taught me to keep fighting against the negative intrusive thoughts that will slip through the cracks of bad habits. to continue battling the constant cycles that feel unbreakable because they have become part of the rhythm of our routines.
remember that you are in control.. and that anything is possible. remember to show yourself the love and care that you deserve, because you do deserve it. & remember to keep doing everything you need to do to protect your mind, your body, and your peace.
