@hemlocksounds is one of those rarities, not so uncommon to Chicago, whose glass-shattering folk vocals and stirring compositions turn life’s smallest moments into monumental revelations. Guided by a “first thought, best thought” ethos, hemlock’s music invites listeners into a world both deeply personal and universally felt. Two years ago to the day—April 24, 2023—hemlock played their first show together as this four-piece @emptybottle . Now they’re releasing their Audiotree session, recorded the very morning of their sold-out ‘444’ release show last December. Keep your ears open - they’ve got more tricks up their sleeve and more music left to make!
