Next workshop is on 23 May. Three places still available. Suitable if you're a beginner, or if you need a refresher. We start by doing a test block, exploring all the different ways of making lines and shapes with the tools, then we print by hand with a spoon as well as on the press. In the afternoon you will carve and print your own design. Workshops take place at the lovely @resortstudios in Margate.

The Hurt Business is Omar Musa’s new exhibition of lithographs and woodcuts at Megalo Print Studio. “The Hurt Business” is a phrase used to describe boxing, but could equally refer to international politics – also an arena of sanctioned violence, triumphalism and competing forces.

You can choose one of our messages or make your own. We will show you how to typeset your message and help you to print it on an Adana 8-5 letterpress machine.

The Derby Print Open is an exhibition open to all showcasing contemporary printmaking from artists based in the United Kingdom.

The Derby Print Open is organised by @greendoorstudios - Derby's only open access printmaking studio based in the city's creative hub; Banks Mill Studio @banksmillstudios
Applications are open to all and there is no assigned theme. Printmakers are invited to complete a submission form for up to four prints, and (subject to available space) each entrant will be guaranteed to exhibit at least one of the submitted works provided all other guidelines are adhered to.

🍊 ‘tug-of-war’ exhibition @201artgallery consists of a selection of small screen prints assembled as a fold-out booklet, a riso zine, a piece of dried orange skin plus 2 pieces of real fruit.
