Apparently if it’s a triptych but double, it’s a hexaptych!
I had fun getting out the vernier for two raised float mounted hexaptychs for some nice prints by @ulijaeger13 .
Surrounded by maple, one waxed / one painted white and varnished.
Both finished with anti-reflective @artglass_by_groglass

Clouds are fleeting, never stationary or the same. They constantly change, move, drift and morph, like most things in life, only much faster.
In ‘The Poetics of Space’, Gaston Bachelard quotes from a poem by the French poet Pierre Seghers: “… my hands draw a cloud, a heaven-bound ship above the forests; mist that scatters and disappears (as in the play of images).”

Next FOR THE LOVE OF PRINT Update: Uli Jaeger @ulijaeger13 will be taking part in the fair on the 2nd of May. Uli is a visual artist based in Kent. Her work explores the liminal spaces where art and play meet within the context of the everyday, meaning she likes to play with the objects we share our lives with. These are often in a state of disrepair or neglect (socks, fruit) and she is drawn to integrate them in an open-ended process where things are always in flux and ambiguous. A favourite is citrus fruit, describing an orange as 'the perfect sculpture'. Uli will have a range of prints with her at the fair including Riso and Mono Prints. Come along!
