Four years in the making, the newest album by this underground veteran is a blistering indictment of the global hegemony of religion, war, white supremacy, and humanity's accelerating race to the bottom. Blackened Industrial and heavy Power Electronics comprise a bleak and all-too-topical suite from densely layered soundscapes of pain. This is music made of shards of synthesized anguish, punishing beats, and lacerated vocals that sing into the void with clashing harmonies.
Theologian Prime once again produced the album in collaboration with Derek Rush (DREAM INTO DUST, UNFEELING), as with previous works Some Things Have To Be Endured and most of Contrapasso VNVS. Beginning with improv sessions with members of TELLADICTORIAN, FRAGILE BODY, ESTR, MURDEROUS VISION, GNAWED, DEAD EDITOR, and Marcus LaBonte (Cloister Recordings), contributions were later solicited from THE VOMIT ARSONIST, GROT, and Raab Codec of SNOWBEASTS.
The album's artwork was created by HELL SIMULATION (Ethan Lee McCarthy of MANY BLESSINGS, SPIRITUAL POISON, and PRIMITIVE MAN), who also contributed to the album's final track.
