Been having a good winter so far. @primitivemandoom had a very successful tour in December and then I did a weekend in Scandinavia with Black Curse. Helsinki, Trondheim and Reykjavik all in the span of 5 days and 24 hours of being in the air. 2026 is packed with more music and making some personal travel a priority as well. Grateful for my little family, friends and all the opportunities music has provided. Gonna try and be off the internet as much as possible. Holler at me in real life and if you can’t then we shouldn’t :) ❤️

O B S E R V A N C E is out TODAY. We put an immense amount of work into this record from start to finish. More so than anything we have ever done. The songs were created not only at home, but also on tour in front of some of you. Even though a lot of the writing process was improvisational in nature, the songs were written with our past in mind as well as looking towards the future. We have been fortunate to have had the reputation of being a REALLY heavy band for long enough to where we knew that we could stretch out and explore new horizons in our OWN way. If you saw us on tour with @theofficialnapalmdeath @yourbaroness or @amenra_official you heard some of these song in their skeletal infancy. Though we remain as “Primitive Man” as ever, we really believe with our hearts that this represents a new chapter in the band and we encourage you to listen LOUD with or without headphones. Our music remains harsh and continues to demand a lot of patience, but if you are reading this I assume you are not a toddler (I know some toddlers who can handle it) so you can give it a go. We are excited to premiere the video and second single for the song “Natural Law,” from our upcoming album “Observance,” on @relapserecords Natural Law is one of the more “trance like” songs in terms of how it was written. It leans into the dark, psychedelic vibe that we experimented with throughout the album. Lyrically, the song deals with the feelings of isolation one might have after a close personal relationship decays. It acknowledges how the option of violence is always there; that it is a personal choice whether or not to succumb to it, and the struggle within that framework. There is a strength and a spark within hatred that you can either use to progress your life forward or end up dead/in jail.
