This session is all about Python superpowers in TouchDesigner: how to structure projects cleanly, create smart event responses, and reuse logic in complex builds.
Three sessions will guide you through it:

Learn to catch bugs early using Pydantic with typed DTOs, data validation and settings management.
Wieland Hilker – Hey, I just met you, callback later
How to design your own callback system and scale projects beyond CallbackDATs.
Ivan Delsol (Derivative) – Callbacks, Extensions and Python Patterns
How to use advanced Python workflows to organize complexity and build smarter tools.
Breakout rooms will give you the chance to talk directly with presenters and other participants for a more hands-on, informal exchange.

* PROJECT STRUCTURE: how to structure the root level of the app and your file system in a way that any old dummy would understand in 5 minutes
* STARTUP FLOW: centralize app boostrapping in one logical place
* GLOBAL OP SHORTCUTS: this one weird trick to make code infinitely more modular, legible, and portable doctors hate!
* ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES: use launch scripts and env settings to feature-flag one app to work on many systems
* BONUS: a little bit about Pytransitions for fully-featured state machine shenanigans
