Thank you for joining us at Valentino Pier for the seventh annual Red Hook Regatta, where hundreds gather to watch homemade boats navigate the rough seas of New York City’s shipping harbor! 🪝⛵️🏁
For 10 years now, students, artists, and designers bring their A-game to Valentino Pier—often learning to using CAD software and 3D printers to build vessels— to compete in the 3D printed and DIY boat races.
We’d like to thank our community partners at Red Hook Community Justice Center (
@redhookjustice ) and Red Hook Initiative (
@rhookinitiative ) for their support in organizing workshops and the radio controlled miniature boat race;
@Makelab3d for donating supplies to support this year’s race; and Regatta founder Dave Sheinkopf (
@bbq_dave )! 🏆️ Finally, we extend a very special congratulations to winners Troy Prince and Miles Fogle.
Stay tuned for announcements about next year’s Regatta by signing up to our newsletter! See you next year at the #RedHookRegatta 🌊
