Ten prospective MFAC students can receive feedback on up to 20 double-spaced pages from one of our award-winning faculty members to learn what it’s like to receive mentorship and feedback as a student in our program. Residency! Is! Here! Our January 2026 winter residency begins tomorrow for new students and Friday for returning students, and we couldn’t be more excited! We have a great lineup of guests, faculty lectures, student presentations, and readings!! We’re also excited to welcome back alumni this weekend for alumni weekend, with special guest Laura Ruby! We also invite prospective students to register for our prospective student day on Saturday, January 17th! Join us to learn more about the program and format, hear from faculty, students, and alumni, and spend the day sharing our love for kidlit! Register at the link in our bio.
