A nice BACK 2 BACK feature today!
A real special treat as @maria.filmphotography & @halleymiranda returned from shooting together with their separate rolls - and we had the pleasure of processing both their wonderful works side by side, so we thought we’d feature the side by side too!
@halleymiranda photographed Maria on Kodak Gold, emphasising the colours and warm tones of the setting & the day.
while @maria.filmphotography shot Halley on a mix of colour & B&W, and for the sake of the feature we thought we’d highlight her incredible B&W shots - shot on Ilford Delta 400. Emphasising contrast, light & shadow, and capturing Halley perfectly amidst the setting.
Getting to see two photographers shoot in their own unique style and voice can be super insightful & interesting to see - how they interpret the same space & come away with their own ideas and results! Two of our favourites capturing one another immaculately!

As the days and weeks churn softly by, taking time to look back and reflect on all the magic that happens in me and around me has felt challenging.
2025 was the biggest of my life personally by FAR, and professionally I documented a lot, most of which I still haven’t even looked at (much too overwhelming).
But for those that stood in front of my lens, who encouraged me to return to making art, who had a deep conversation or held my hand through the tough moments, thank you.
The places & people changed me forever, and I’m endlessly grateful 🙏🏽

Halley @halleymiranda and I had been wanting to meet for a while.
Life kept getting in the way.
She left for Europe, I stayed in Perth, and the timing just never worked.
When she came back, we finally made it happen. And it felt immediately like meeting someone I’d already known.
We understood each other, not just as creatives, but as women getting through life. The kind of conversation where you don’t have to explain yourself too much.
The second time we ever saw each other, we did a shoot for one another.
A quiet exchange between two photographers, stepping in and out of each other’s frame.
Rooted in trust, allowing ourselves to be seen as much as we see.
Moving between control and surrender, meeting each other somewhere in between.
I’m really glad the timing finally worked out💕
