Lots of good eats/drinks the past few months 😆 mix of CLT x CHS x HHI

I’ve been busy working through Charlotte’s restaurant scene this year and have some favorites to share so far. Here’s where I’ve loved and what I’ve enjoyed most along with some places I’m excited to try next. Let me know what else I should have on my list. Full rundown of my 2026 restaurants in the comments. Top 3 so far: - The Story of Mi Carino - My new favorite spot. Literally everything is exceptional. For apps try the laminas de beef and an order of guac. Whether it’s the beef tongue taco, the ceviche, oysters or a 48 day mezcal aged steak you won’t be disappointed. - Dozo - Love the crab fried rice and the tonkatsu. Great lunch spot also with great donburi. Hoping they bring back the Okonomiyaki sometime as I never got to try theirs. - Counter - Worthy of the Michelin Star earned this year. I went for a celebration of Provence’s most famous dishes and was blown away by the whole experience. Most excited to try next: - Post Script - Love this concept in my old neighborhood and have heard great things - Grey’s Diner - Bringing a beloved diner back to relevance by a James Beard semi-finalist - Lady Funari - Italian concept by the owners of Mi Carino and Vinyl. What’s not to like? - Seaboy - Need to make it to Cornelius and see what folks are raving about!

New spot in South End you need to try 👀🦪 I checked out @halfshellclt and I’m already thinking about going back…I need those insane ahi tuna nachos again😂 We tried: ✨ Ahi tuna nachos (a MUST try!) 🦪 Fresh oysters & oysters royale add-on 🦞 Lobster roll (warm or chilled!) 🍫 Chocolate cake (so fudgey) The space is super cute, the menu is great, and everything we tried was delish.
