What happens when creative freedom meets cultural complexity? For OFFF Sevilla 2024, we set out to celebrate Andalusian culture through an animated title sequence, using abstract geometry as our visual language. We took the spirit of the city and built a piece around it - leaning into colour, movement and tradition, all seen through our lens. Despite our admiration, we had learnt that there are limits to our imagination. Together with Device, we’ve taken this as a learning milestone, one that’s reshaping our creative values moving forward. Hands, hearts and 36 tiny heads 👐✨ This one was a proper labour of love. From modular puppets to hand-painted sets, every frame of @suchard_es ’s Christmas story was built by real people, with real care. Stop-motion isn’t fast (or easy). But that’s kind of the point. We slowed things down, so every prop, blink and shadow could mean something. This was one of our favorite projects last year, hands down. It was a challenge on multiple levels—strategically, as we worked to develop a long-term, scalable system adaptable to various applications; organizationally, as we navigated real-time leadership and coordination; and collectively, as a group and studio, it marked a significant milestone in our growth, learning, and maturity. The goal was to create a flexible, human-centered visual identity that reflects Meta’s commitment to authentic connection, warmth, and inclusivity. We delivered 40 modular, 3-second videos with interchangeable elements, resulting in over 2,000 unique executions in just a matter of days. The vibrant and adaptable design system connects with a global audience through diverse, relatable characters, enriched with textures, gradients, and a cohesive color palette.
