Quienes están cerca saben que ha sido un año muy duro para mí.
A veces lo imagino como entrar en una habitación que parece la de siempre, pero no lo es. En la que reconoces los objetos, las formas, el olor, pero algo ha cambiado. Los objetos no están como los dejaste, tienen una forma sutilmente distinta y algunos están agrietados. El suelo de cerámica se vuelve inestable y suena como cuando las baldosas se despegan. Las paredes se transforman en espejos en los que te ves distorsionada, en uno te ves pequeña y débil, en otro se amplían tus defectos, y en otro simplemente no te reconoces.
Te sientes perdida, desorientada, en una habitación de espejismos que cada vez se hace más y más pequeña. Hasta que rompes uno de ellos porque sientes que no hay otra salida posible y de repente estás en una caída libre. No ves nada. Como cuando hay tanto viento que te hace llorar. El aire es afilado y sientes lágrimas frías en la cara.
Y entonces empiezas a entreabrir los ojos. Descifras brazos, rostros conocidos. Personas que te ayudan a frenar la caída a veces con palabras, a veces con un abrazo, con unas flores, con un chocolatito o con un vermut. Esos brazos, esos rostros, son capaces de teletransportarte a otros lugares donde no hay viento, sino música, focos, un concierto inesperado, un restaurante rico, un partido de fútbol, un gimnasio con spa.
Y de repente vuelve el frío en la cara. No pasa nada. Esta vez es más suave. Ya no duele tanto, ahora te acaricia y notas tus lágrimas secas, tirantes en tu piel. Mientras caes, sientes que cada persona te ofrece un amor que no has pedido, pero que necesitabas y que llega de formas distintas y preciosas, y gracias a eso, les conoces más a ellos y te conoces más a ti.
Y en algún punto de la caída, ya no sabes si estás cayendo, frenando o incluso subiendo.
Gracias a todas las amigas, amigos y familia que han estado ahí este año, y a Gilda, que llegó cuando más necesitaba tener un motivo para despertarme, para salir de casa, para cuidar y cuidarme.
El año que viene quiero estar a vuestra altura 🩵
