To everyone that came to see Poppy Promises exhibited in the past months, thank you for coming along and giving the project such a special reception. Those of you who bought the book, shared a kind word, or even just picked it up and spent a moment turning the pages, it truly means the world to me. To bring the year to a close, Guest Project Space ( @guestprojectspace ) hosted an exhibition for Poppy Promises; bringing together nineteen photographs from the series. Each photograph was carefully printed by Fresh Aire ( @freshaire_ltd ) mounted on Aluminium DiBond, and presented in frames that I made myself on the farm where the project was photographed over the past eight years. This week, a small section of the show will be travelling to Berlin to coincide with a the launch of the book at @bildband.berlin I will also be in conversation about the project with my good friend @_katesch at Bildband. I’m grateful to each and everyone that came along and made the opening of the Poppy Promises exhibition a night to remember. Thanks to everyone who joined us last night for the opening of the latest show with @thomas.duffield and the London launch of Poppy Promises, published by @witty_books . The show will be in place until at least December 15, and with all prints beautifully made by @freshaire_ltd and hand framed by Thomas, it's worth a visit. Thomas will be in the gallery tomorrow (Sat 29) and available to sign the last few copies left of the book. Join us next week for the debut London exhibition and book launch of Poppy Promises at Guest Project Space / @guestprojectspace The show opens on Thursday the 27th of November 6pm-10pm. Not only does the evening mark my first time exhibiting the series in London, it will also be the first solo exhibition I have brought together in the big city. Many of you have watched the series slowly take shape over the years and I am so pleased to finally share the work with you. We will present eighteen photographs from the series, printed by @freshaire_ltd and framed by myself on the farm where much of the work was made. It has been such a labour of love that it feels almost melancholic to let it go on its own little journey in the world. The last few weeks releasing Close to Home feels like a dream! THANK YOU to everyone that helped bring this together especially @thomas.coombes @guesteditions @mccarthymoon1 @labyrinthphotographicprinting @wearefrmd @suzeolbrich @cubface @sarah.wilso.n 🤍 The book is now in general release following a three week show @guestprojectspace and the presentation in Paris during @polycopies . I'm so grateful for the response to this work. The book is shipping now from the Guest Editions website, it can be collected directly from Guest Project Space, from the bookshops below, and is available for wholesale distribution via @public_knowledge_books . The book was shot over ten years on the Isle of Sheppey between 2014 and 2024. It features 90 images reproduced from original hand prints made by Laura McCluskey. Some behind-the-scenes images from the test printing of ‘Poppy Promises’, a book and exhibition by @thomas.duffield 🌷 During this process we tried various papers and adjusted colours to find the perfect balance, viewed under a calibrated light source which allows us to analyse the prints under different lighting conditions💡 The show is still on at @villagebooks.co in Leeds for a short while and then travels down to London to be exhibited at @guestprojectspace , opening 27th November 🖼️

Somehow two weeks have passed since the launch of Close to Home and this will be the last weekend to view the current show @guestprojectspace by @lauramccluskey , before we take the book on the road for @polycopies in Paris.
