Trailer Drop! - During the late pandemic circa 2021/2 š·, I worked with the CDC and The University of Alabama Birminghamās Psychology Department to produce a number of educational videos to help avert accidental shootings and death among 10-12 year olds. As many know, gun safety is a huge issue for households who choose to have firearms and children sometimes suffer the consequences of this potentially lethal availability. Many of the kids in this study watched my videos and were educated by them alongside the accompanying website, online games and tutorials. After more than 2 years of clinical trials, the resulting paper was published recently by the industry leading American Journal of Public Health. Iām very proud of my small contribution to making the world a bit safer for kids. Our hope is to spread the word on the findings and ultimatly, save lives.
