TOGETHER FOREVER | 200T 16mm
@sundanceorg 2026 Short Film Program 2
“I was pretty lost in filmmaking when my producer friend told me to apply to the ANORA x Kodak competition. I did — and thank God I did. With Kodak’s support, I got to make Together Forever — a tender love story about a young Mormon couple tying the knot. It’s a pretty personal movie, and I wanted to shoot on a medium that matched my sentimentality. 16mm felt exactly right — it glows in a way that matches the film’s heart and softness.” — Writer & Director,

“When Greg approached me to shoot Together Forever, we knew we needed a film stock that could capture the warmth and intimacy of the script, and we quickly settled on 200T. Set entirely in a hotel room on a couple’s wedding night, shooting this stock allowed me to control the falloff—often letting it drift into shadow—so the visuals reflected the couple’s sense of being alone together, where little else mattered. The liminal consciousness before the couple is expected to lose their virginity guided my visual approach, and I wanted our lighting to feel expressionistic. Shooting on 16mm gave the film a timeless, intimate presence.” — Cinematographer,
