Dolly Rae Star plays in poetry, drag, sound, movement and magic. Let’s dance in the mystery! They have performed internationally, in Cape Town, Athens and Paris. Publications include: Quest)ion) (Veer2 Press, 2022) and Play Stance (Polyversity Press, 2021). They’ve also had work published by Ignota (with their poem called ‘a bold anthem’ in The New Statesman), Earthbound, Datableed and Litmus, among others.

Erin James (

Erin James is a multi-disciplinary artist and facilitator working at the intersection of art and social change. Their framework for creating uses art forms such as poetry, sound, creative research and theatre as vessels for “artivism”. Erin has performed poetry at venues and festivals such as FemFest, Brighton Festival and Brighton Dome, had their poetry added to university curricula. They are the 2025 Spit Nights Slam Champion, and published nationally across zines, magazines, anthologies and newspapers.

Gray Taylor (

Gray Taylor is a Brighton based poet originally from Derby, who has a musical background in hip hop, grime and RnB. He discovered poetry after attending an event at Brighton Dome called “Status Flo” hosted by AFLO.the poet.
Gray describes his poetry style as “Conversational, punchline, storytelling” with focus on poems being thought provoking, relatable, fun and easy on the ear.
