It’s the plants and the people that make it a bit magic ✨ @goodgrounding @dsscotland @burtonhallgardendesign @baker_pr

🥈 RHS Chelsea: Silver-Gilt Medal We’re also extremely proud to announce that the ADHD Foundation Garden has been awarded a Silver-Gilt Medal at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show. It’s been a true delight working closely with C J Landscapes and designer Katy Terry on this gorgeous project, which celebrates neurodiversity in such a creative, vibrant way. Congratulations to all involved! 👏💐 #RHSChelsea

Pleased to spot my 2025 RHS Chelsea Flower Show garden featured in The Sunday Times this weekend as part of an article exploring Chelsea’s continuing popularity and our growing connection with gardening and nature. The garden was designed to celebrate the strengths, creativity and resilience of those with ADHD through a naturalistic planting scheme made up of plants that behave differently, self-seed, move freely and challenge more traditional expectations of perfection and control. A reminder of the enduring impact gardens can have, not simply as designed spaces, but as places that open up conversations around restoration, mental health, neurodiversity and our relationship with the natural world. I do hope that TFL will reconsider the tube strike during this important week, as it is a significant time for many charities and represents an opportunity for hope, awareness and learning. @project.giving.back @the_rhs @transportforlondon

Screening with deciduous trees 🌿 These hornbeam will grow into a soft, layered screen offering privacy in summer while still allowing precious winter light to filter through. As they mature, they’ll provide increased cover without ever feeling heavy or closed in, with the added bonus of beautiful seasonal change. Perfect for gentle screening, lush and leafy in the warmer months, then opening up as the leaves fall. A natural boundary that shifts and breathes with the seasons. Thank you to @griffinnurseries and @austinlandscapesuk for helping bring this together

A thank you to @allgreengb for my hat and the feature of our Chelsea garden in your brochure. Check out their Derbyshire Gold Selfbinda, a natural permeable surface treatment in a rich reddy brown which sings in most weathers and acts as a lovely foil for planting. #goodgrounding #gardendesign #plantingdesign #landscapedesign #gardendesigner

While the days are short and dreary and the perennials are in hibernation my beautiful copper umbrella ☂️ continues to move to the rhythm of the day and brings a quiet sense of joy through my kitchen window and to those who enter my door. For anyone interested in these umbrella sculptures please contact the wonderful @davidbegbie renowned wire mesh sculptor. They work as an independent piece or hung staggered in multiples. #goodgrounding #gardendesign #gardendesigner #gardensculpture #gardenstyle

My youngest had a nasty bug, or so we thought, 4 days later her temperatures were soaring so a visit to A&E and the paediatric consultants soon diagnosed appendicitis and we were off to theatre. The NHS were fantastic and she’s now home recovering well. I’m scrabbling around trying to get back on track before I shut down for a festive break. This wreath was a moment of calm from the uncertainty, it wasn’t as planned with any of the materials but I so enjoyed the creative meditation. My lovely friend @alysonfaust made the pièce de résistance - which also works beautifully as a dog bow don’t you think? @simonlycett not as planned but enjoyed as a moment of calm ☺️ x

Yesterday, I had the honour of attending the @womenofyear Lunch and Awards 2025. Nearly 400 extraordinary women filled the room — each one an advocate for change and hope, often transforming adversity into action. In what felt like an intimate and safe space, these remarkable women shared their stories openly. As women, we supported one another and stood together for the causes raised throughout the day. The awards celebrated truly inspirational women, and many well-known role models were there championing the women and girls who will shape our future. I left feeling hugely uplifted and inspired to contribute even more to society. Thank you @womenofyear @sallyorangembe — and to all the incredible women I met (and those I didn’t!) for making it such a powerful and memorable day. #goodgrounding #gardendesign #gardendesigner #landscapedesign #plantingdesigner #gardendesignsurrey #gardendesignsussex #gardendesignhampshire #adhduk #adhdwoman #adhdwomenandgirls #neurodiverse #britishdyslexiaassociation #womenoftheyear2025
