The Offering - using the Sekerith Font Honestly the poster that kicked off the font's promo, and my favourite. I CANNOT wait to print this one... And maybe you want to get it hanged too? This poster, as well as a big part of the Sekerith Font to be honest, was inspired by the band @sleep_token and in particular for this one their song "The Offering". The song references two lovers/enemies discovering each other through physical touch, inviting to "take a bite". Moreover, Sleep Token has a strong sense of mysticism and magic around their story. In short, I'm really proud of this poster. This week I had the opportunity to follow "To AI or not to AI", a workshop given by the wonderful Marek Tuszynski from @tactical_tech , where amongst other things, I had the opportunity to create this poster. This poster is a personal exploration on the value of my time. I heavily use LLM AIs such as Perplexity and GitHub copilot to save on time, gather information rapidly, prototype code, etc. I try to "use AI this time, learn from its answer, and not need to use AI next time", but is this even true? As a firm climate change-preoccupied individual, are not spending 70 hours of my time per month researching for answers and using AI instead worth their counterpart's carbon emissions? To come to this number, I used the Ecologits converter, an open-source calculator for ressources usage per-token on various AIs. My number is of course very approximate, but this poster is more of a moral questioning than a scientific exploration. On an unrelated note, this marks the 9th week of my studies here at @burg_halle . 2D motion graphics tests Weekly 15 1st is a re-creation of @jam2go 's "hover notes" (go check them out! Wishlist GANGSTALK!) in Blender with the power of geometry nodes 2nd is an implementation of attractor physics in JavaScript (Svelte 5 + typescript) with the rapier package, originally written in Rust but compiled in WASM.
