So many close friends from all over jumping into VR Chat and trying on these crazy avatars
@defunckt , @_c.lav_ and I built this little musical interactive VR world for my album Sleepy Songs. The night started with a Sleepy Songs listening party to the visuals and then we just DJed and it all devolved from there haha
It was really special!! This makes me want to do in person events sometime. It meant a lot to me seeing everyone join to celebrate the launch and I cannot thank @defunckt and @_c.lav_ for putting so much work into building this with me

Often, video game composers are requested to blur lines between well-known genres, and expand their stylistic skill set from project to project. Many newcomers to the industry will often hear two contradictory pieces of advice on social media: "Niche down!", and "Diversify!". This begs the question, "Is there one right way to be a video game composer?"
Bringing together four composers in the video game industry, Tony Manfredonia leads a Q&A and discussion with fellow composers Noa Beazley, Chase Bethea, and Virginia Leo regarding "specialization vs. versatility" in the world of video game music creation. The discussion will provide an inside look at how each of these composers got their start in video game music, their varied sources of income streams, their required skill sets in order to work in the industry, and more.

Feels strange to be writing this, but for the last 4 years I slung myself back into education, first doing Music Technology and then finding my true passion, Sound for Games & Apps. @dbs_institute has turned my life around post RAF, they have given me the experience, knowledge and memories throughout all 4 years.
It felt weird leaving the building today for the last time, but 4 years ago I made a post saying when one door closes... today I can say that the door has opened fully, with my new career as a Junior Audio Programmer starting at @virtexstadium next Monday.
Shout out to everyone who has made the 4 years possible, enjoyable and rewarding. Thank you.
