For this warm-up at @kwia.berlin on May 10, we invite tibslc and Lumen from Leipzig alongside collective members Gini SNC and lyricdata for an ambient gathering. @tibslc works with environmental recordings, processed noise, guitar, feedback, and voice to create detailed, atmospheric compositions. Her pieces develop with a strong narrative sense, moving between distant and intimate perspectives. @ray__lumen is a project that explores the tension between two illumination and mystery and the ever-shifting space in between. The eternal power of transience. Indulging in an imminent absence — where imagery and words dissolve and nothing remains but permanent tension. Guided by improvisation, @ginisnc blends analog synths, voice, and digital processing into immersive pieces shaped by drones, distortion, mechanical fragments, and whispered textures. lyricdata (@_shannon_harris_1 ) works with expressive, bass-driven electronic music shaped by sound design, moving between intimate textures and explosive club energy, drawing from bass music, IDM, glitch, and experimental electronic sound. PREMIERE : GINI SNC - in a quantum vacuum [KLEM007] Guided by spontaneity and improvisation, GINI SNC (she/her) weaves immersive sonic landscapes merging analog synths, voice, and digital processing. Deep currents slowly pulse beneath piercing drones, fragmented mechanical voices, and caressing whispers. Shape-shifting sounds move through waves of distortion, sometimes met by the ethereal call of a siren song. “all that matter(ed) melts into aether” A methaphorical journey through time until there is no time. Reaching the quantum vacuum: a timeless, fluctuating sea of potential from which all inner and outer universes emerged. Following, as existence unfolds and transforms potential into form, rushing to build and destroy manifold worlds. Witnessing superfluid patterns of order and motion crystallize, waves and ripples flowing through the quantum fabric. As the cycle turns, all forms, beings and memories dissipate; all that matter(ed) melts into aether, when ultimately, all becomes one and one becomes all - once more the potential of new becoming. @ginisnc is a sound artist who weaves immersive sonic landscapes from drones, noise, textures, and resonance. Her practice combines analog instruments and digital processing, creating works where moving waves of distortion may collapse into moments of fragile stillness. She will present a live set of her upcoming debut EP, to be released on KLEM, all that matter(ed) melts into aether - a journey through the universe, traversing the superfluid quantum foam, floating across space-time trapped in strings of memory, until after all, all becomes one.
