We are more than excited that our first release see’s the light of the day from today on 🫧 The biggest thank you to all artists who contributed a track to this fundraiser project! 🫶🏻 featured artists: @isaramosx @pire.meilleur @_.scano._ & @kristianhesth @__wilko_ @byrnebilly_ @rill_syntop @kontinum.lpz @goldraver @hkkptr @_yyyyyannnnn_ @backinbanjul @hllwmusic @_____atreo_____ The compilation brings together artistic ideas rooted in and around psychedelic and club-oriented music. The A-side focuses on rhythmic, dance-driven tracks, spanning Progressive Psytrance and related styles such as Psytech and darker sonic territories of Psy. The B-side shifts the focus. Calmer, atmospheric, and more experimental sounds take center stage. Ambient structures open up a more contemplative dimension that has recently become a stronger interest and focus for Trips. The VA compilation’s fundraising goal is central to the project: at a time when far-right forces are gaining strength and social regression is becoming increasingly visible, we want to take a clear stance. That is why all proceeds from the project will be donated to Netzwerk @polylux_network [work], which supports antifascist and queer initiatives in eastern Germany. At the same time, we want to shift attention to what is happening outside metropolitan bubbles like Berlin. At a time when right-wing, conservative, and regressive forces are gaining strength worldwide, across Europe, and especially in Germany, this feels more urgent than ever. Particularly in rural areas of eastern Germany, it is becoming increasingly dangerous for people who do not fit a dominant idea of “Germanness” — especially queer and non-white people. Next up in our podcast is FILTH.y with Trip 25 🫧 FILTH.y is a Copenhagen-based DJ crafting immersive, bass-driven journeys rooted in the psychedelic realm. Part of the bunker collective Quake, with sets that flow through forest trance, driving rhythms, and textured, rolling patterns. This mix explores shadowy, layered rhythms and organic textures, building immersive energies across shifting, dense, psychedelic soundscapes. Thank you so much xx @sophiakristiansen 🧚‍♂️🧌

Trips is expanding its universe. With a second mix series, we’re opening space for ambient and related sonic territories. Very grateful to start with Trance Ambient master aka @veryl.east 🫧🩵 This mix consists of 77 minutes of ambient from the trance world, gathering the emotional facets and colourful soundscapes of trance, but without the usual percussion. A bit more experimental this time around, highlighting the noisier niches of trance and of its ambient mirror world. Veryl East is a DJ based in Zurich. He plays emotionally textured trance and ambient, drawing inspiration from the contemporary Scandinavian scene and past Parisian nights alike. While helping to carve out a niche for Nordic trance in Switzerland, he has also appeared in mix series and line-ups across Europe and beyond. Link via wonderlink in bio
