Ghost Editions

I’m delighted to have been invited by @indiaprintmakerhouse to some new screen print works in their section of the London Original Print Fair at Somerset House next week. These prints develop ideas that began when I was invited to do a solo show at the William Morris Society in 2019. As part of this I had the opportunity to make a print using Morris’s own Albion letterpress on which he printed many of his own works. My new print fuses the print I made on the Albion press with Morris’ own patterns. Each print is an edition of 5 is subtly unique due to the processes I developed to make them. Huge thanks to @ghost.editions for helping me produce these.

Happy Halloween! It's been a busy old week at GSHQ, what with the @whiterabbitbks launch and all. But in case we hadn't enough to get on with we thoughT we'd bring you this spooky delight. This amazing illustration of Andrew was created by @runwrake in 1994 for the NME to illustrate the release of Haunted Dancehall by @the.sabres.of.paradise .  I found a collage of it framed in Andrews studio after he passed, and with a little help from my friends, we tracked down the artist. Sadly, like Andrew, Run left this earth way too young, and also like Andrew, left an incredible body of work.  So, in honour of Andrew and Run we are proud to present this limited edition screen print, hand printed and numbered by our dear friends at @ghost.editions which is rather apt for the time of year and the illustration itself.  Run worked at the NME for many years, illustrating the weekly releases for the likes of Blur, Bob Dylan, Flaming Lips, to name a few. His talents ranged from illustration, animation, video to short film. You will no doubt have come across him at some point during your musical education. All profits from these sales will be split between Andrews and Runs estates and also Pilgrim Hospice who took great care of Run in his final months.   This will be a pre order run, orders closing 15th November. Come and celebrate with us this Saturday at ‘Staring at the Sun’ at St Paul’s Bow Common, Musarc’s midsummer concert and album launch. Affordances presents four works writ­ten by Belgian com­pos­er @heleenvanhaegenbrgh for UK exper­i­men­tal choral ensem­ble Musarc between 2019 – 25. Scored for voices and free melod­ic instru­ments, each piece tunes into a dif­fer­ent dimen­sion of the vibrant and orac­u­lar polypho­ny of the chorus, its joy­ful hal­lu­ci­na­tions, its many languages and the ways it has with the world as a body of bod­ies, sin­gu­lar and plur­al: at times sound­ing restrained and haunt­ing­ly beau­ti­ful, at oth­er times triumphant and clear. Recorded over two days in April 2025 at @luca.schoolofarts , Ghent. A preview of what we created in Ghent can be heard on Bandcamp where you can also pre-order the album. Physical copies, including a special edition of the vinyl – with a sleeve screen-printed by @ghost.editions and an orange vinyl lathe-cut by @bladudflies – will be available on the night, in collaboration with @snvariations . Saturday evening will also feature live extracts from Haegenborgh’s music.
