This was my 13th and final show of 2025, the most I’ve ever played in one year, and I’m continuously reminded that seeing and being part of live music is one of the most human things we can do. I can’t wait for more in 2026 ౨ৎ🎸࿔˚₊

My debut EP is out on Friday ~ it’s called ‘Screaming Loving’ 🩵🪐🕯️🌠🐚🌀
Here’s a bit of a backstory of how it all came together:
Screaming Loving has 5 songs that have been in the works for the last almost 5 years. I started writing and producing most of them myself when I was at uni (see slide 2) staying late at the studio and trying to get the songs and sounds I heard in my head into my DAW. Writing and re-writing until lyrics felt worn-in.
I’ve been lucky to bring this to life with friends. In 2023 @ethan.reg and I had a writing session together and we wrote ‘Expectations’, which comes out with the EP on Friday. Then I asked him to collaborate with me on my other songs and we mapped out the whiteboard with our grand master plan (see slide 1).
We recorded layers of vocal harmonies and guitars, flute, mandolin, synths, and whatever else we were inspired by in the moment. My friends @rubendragone played drums and @zsa.zsa.gyulay played bass, and I got to record vocals with @antoniagauci and Krom (slide 4). The songs started to sound complete and we eventually filled up the whiteboard.
As for the visuals, my lovely friends and I shot videos and took photos in the backyard, the street, our share house. We shot a fully DIY music video for ‘Blame Saturn’ at my office. @nathanrathsamdp and I took a typewriter to Chill Café and convinced the staff to let us film there for the ‘Expectations’ music video (also out on Friday), among other things.
I feel very grateful and my heart is very warm to be able to have these experiences, and be able to share them all packaged up in this 5-track body of work.

We sat down with Enmore based indie pop artist Gena Stone to talk debut her debut EP, isolation, collaboration and letting songs evolve over time ✨
“I just released my debut EP Screaming Loving. A lot of the songs were written in isolation, and then I took them to my band and collaborators. Listening back now, it’s really nice to reflect on that.”
