Step into The Garden’s Loom 🌿
Gallery 440 is proud to present a new exhibition featuring the intricate woven works of Christine Guernsey. Inspired by the textures, colors, and quiet details of her own Texas gardens, Guernsey transforms nature into handwoven fiber art through an incredibly meticulous process that blends photography, weaving, and craftsmanship.
Every piece begins in the garden and ends on the loom — thread by thread, layer by layer. The result is work that feels both organic and architectural, delicate yet deeply structured.

Is it finished? Possibly. The video captures the colors better, but I might still tweak her headpiece and shade the eyes more, but either way, I am on target for my show this July in Ft Worth, TX at @gallery_440 that opens July 3rd.
