We’re finally catching our breath after a fabulous day of live music all over South Main Village this past Saturday for the first @lostnsound_southmain of 2026.
We saw raucous punk, smooth jazz, soulful songwriters, fuzzy rock, banging DJ’s, AND MORE. We were hosted by restaurants, bookshops, hotels, churches, AND MORE. We are blown away by all the teamwork, coordination, promotion, and ENERGY that our partners poured into the first event of the year, and we can’t wait to see what they’re cookin’ up for the Fall edition!
The community showed up to support local musicians and small businesses with gusto (with dogs and kiddos in tow), and it was a blast! This Women’s History Month, let’s recognize the trailblazing women who inspire progress, lead change and empower communities where everyone can thrive.
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN
@thirdthursdayftw is a free-to-attend casual community art crawl taking place every-other-month. Businesses located in South Main Village in Fort Worth’s Near Southside Cultural District open their doors to local artists to display their work. Some artists are invited to exhibit their work for extended periods of time before and/or after the Third Thursday event date, while others may opt for one-day showings. Community members are invited to pop in and out of participating Third Thursday venues from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on event day.
2026 is going to be a great year of community events in the district and we hope YOU will get involved! Visit / for more information about hosting an artist as a VENUE, or showing your work as an ARTIST.
