What a year it’s been! I wrapped up my season this past weekend shooting my third Precision Rifle Series Finale! I managed to earn one more 90+ point match late in the season, which secured me a spot in Squad 3. I headed up to Pennsylvania to compete against some of the best shooters in the country. It was a challenging course of fire with some of the trickiest conditions imaginable—but I’m proud to say I had one of my best matches of the season! I finished 6th overall, earned Top Junior and Top Suppressor, and climbed 25 places to snag a Top 10 Bullet! 🏆 Huge congrats to Morgun King on taking home the Golden Bullet! Ever since I started shooting PRS, I’ve dreamed of being one of those shooters walking up to collect a Top 10 bullet—and this year, that dream came true. I couldn’t have done it without the incredible support from my parents, who constantly push me to be the best shooter I can be. Love y’all! A massive thank-you to all the ROs who volunteered their weekend to make this match run so smoothly, and to Mr. Bill Geissele for hosting us at his amazing range. This past weekend I shot the 2024 IPRF World Championship and it was a blast. @madbeems and @kenwwheeler made a great COF small targets good bit of movement made it fun but difficult. The switchy winds made the match pretty difficult but still had a great time. Team USA managed to get Top Team in every division and top Country! Met a bunch of great guys this weekend from a lot of different countries which was pretty cool. Shot with some people from Norway, Sweden,South Africa,Canada,France and The UK. Was really cool meeting and seeing how there’s no difference between the US and the other country’s for the rifle builds. Thanks to @5thgenfarm for everything you’ve done these last few weeks. Went up to @twinpeaks_rifleclub for the Box Canyon Showdown presented by @btindllc , and it did not disappoint. @madbeems put together an awesome COF as always. Small targets and winds pushing 30 MPH made it a tough but super fun match. Day 1 started rough. Opened with four 7s in a row, then followed it up with three 6s. Not ideal. But I settled in toward the end and finished with an 8 and a 10. Checked scores that night and found myself sitting in 14th, only 5 points out of the top 5. Day 2 was a completely different story. Cleaned the first stage, dropped just one on the next, and kept the momentum going. Ended up having one of my best days ever at Twin Peaks, dropping only 12 shots total. Climbed 12 spots to finish 2nd overall, my best 2-day match finish yet. Couldn’t have done it without the support from my squad. stage 8 @txprecisionmatches 7/10 , this stage was a hard one, and the wind wasn’t stable, I believe I missed the first 2 due to being low, and I missed one due to wind. Stage 1 @txprecisionmatches 9/10, this stage is the same as it was in the steel classic 2 months ago and it a fun one, small targets, and a decent pan between targets.
