I had a good finish at the latest regional qualifier match at Twisted Barrel Precision LLC last weekend, getting me 97 qualifier points for the Central Region finale As always it was a great course of fire and I ended up tied for 2nd on impacts but lost the tie breaker so finisher 3rd overall.
My gun was hammering and I could not be happier with Caleb Pulliam cutting the Custom Rifle Barrels for me…the proof is in the groups. Shooting quality components like Alpha Munitions brass doesnt hurt either
For this year I have been shooting “civilized” with my BOSS Silencers TopShot. The difference is night and day, great recoil management and not feeling punch drunk at the end of a match. Excited to see what innovations come about from the suppressor category kicking off in full force. I have yet to have someone shoot it and not be impressed
Next stop is Punisher at the end of the month. Going to be hot and the winds are going to show, it will be a game of attrition!!!!
Huge shoutout to Shannon Lepard on Mothers Day. She does so much to take care of the kids and myself and keeps the household running with all of our crazy schedules, on top of hers. I couldn’t imagine a better Mother for the job.

I had another great regional finish walking away with Top Suppressor at this months Freestone Shooting Complex match hosted by Taylor Crabtree and Clayton Miller. Taylor is building great courses of fire that are new shooter friendly yet still hard enough for us more experienced shooters. If you haven’t shot Freestone be sure and give it a try, they have some major things planned for this year.
The BOSS Silencers TopShot continues to impress…no concussion and fantastic muzzle control. I dont miss shooting a brake at all, I see everything I need to see!!!
I ended up shooting the Dasher instead of the ARC and had one bad stage that set me back. The ZCO is headed back to get inspected for my random zero shifts that started at Best in Texas. Mounting up the trusted Razor to head to Kahles.
Still working on editing the Best in Texas video and hope to have that posted by the end of next week. Sorry for the delay but been traveling for work a bunch lately.
